Winter in Narrabri is beautiful and the best season to really enjoy a visit to north western NSW. The mornings are frosty and refreshing, the night sky is full of stars and Craigdon is toasty warm with open fires and sun soaked verandahs beckoning you indoors.
The largest cotton harvest ever is well underway, with the ginning expected to run through to November. Winter crops are enjoying the recent rain while native bushland and National Parks are a thriving wonderland of wildlife and flora. Ideal weather for spotting the illusive pink slug up at Mt. Kaputar.
